Aryna Sabalenka
Her birthplace is Minsk which is located in Belarus. Sergey, her father (who died in 2019) was an ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was born Minsk, Belarus on May 5th of 1998. Her career has seen her had 12 WTA singles titles including a Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is her forte, and she won Majors during the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), both of which were with Elise Mertens. In 2019, she was the winner of each of in the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian Partner, who completed her Sunshine Double. This feat was only achieved by four couples competing in female doubles. Only four couples who achieved this feat when playing women's doubles. She rose into the top spot of the doubles rankings in the following year, after triumphing the doubles title in Melbourne. It made her the only Belarusian tennis player to achieve success in the field. Dmitry Tursunov, a former Russian tennis player, was her coach her throughout her 2018 season to the conclusion and the 2020 season. Dieter Kindlmann worked with her for short periods in August of 2020 until September. Antonio Dubrov is her coach, and has been since the start of 2020. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are her idols.
